No one should suffer through the difficulties of chronic pain. As an accredited exercise physiologist on the Gold Coast, my approach offers the clarity and direction you need to achieve lasting results.
There is no denying the toll of chronic pain. Limited movement and constant discomfort can make even the simplest tasks feel impossible.
At Respire, we’re here to change that. I combine the power of movement with the fundamentals of breathwork to help you find lasting relief, restore your range of motion, and build the strength you need to live pain-free.
My approach is built on a deep understanding of how your body moves—and how your breath influences every part of that movement. Through personalised exercise programs and targeted breathwork, I address both the physical and mental aspects of pain, helping you regain control of your body and your life.
Exercise physiology is the science of how movement and exercise affect the body to develop targeted strategies to improve health, chronic pain, function and mobility.
But did you know that how we breathe is linked to the pain you might be experiencing? The way we breathe affects our posture, muscle function, and even the way our body responds to stress and pain.
When your breathing patterns are off, it can exacerbate pain, hinder recovery, and even limit your range of motion. At Respire, I help you find and understand the link and develop targeted, evidence-based strategies to restore balance, reduce pain and accelerate your progress.
Whether managing chronic conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or musculoskeletal disorders, my holistic approach to exercise physiology treatment helps you feel better and move with ease.
With a deep understanding of human physiology and biomechanics, we look at the full picture. By integrating breathing, movement and expert guidance, I address the root causes of discomfort and limitation, not just the symptoms.
At Respire, no two bodies are the same. Having treated countless exercise physiology clients on the Gold Coast, I understand the unique challenges each individual faces when it comes to pain, mobility, and overall health.
I don’t just look at the condition, but also the lifestyle factors that impact your health and well-being. Each session is fully tailored to your specific needs, ensuring that the exercises and strategies we implement are aligned with your personal goals and recovery.
Depending on your goals and individual needs, programs will vary in duration – from as little as 2-3 weeks up to 12 weeks.

You don’t have to settle for discomfort. Unlike traditional treatments that require ongoing care, my goal is to empower you with the tools and strategies you need for immediate relief and lasting improvements.
A full understanding of your body, pain and lifestyle is essential for creating an effective, personalised plan. Our process is thorough and holistic, combining movement, performance, and breathing assessments to ensure we address all aspects of your health and mobility.
We start by understanding your current range of motion, comfort levels, and postural structure. This allows us to pinpoint areas of limitation and design an approach to restore movement and reduce discomfort.
When assessing performance, we look at how well you move and how much energy it takes. This step helps us understand your physical limits and gives insight into areas for improvement in breathing and energy management.
By assessing your breathing patterns, we can better understand how they may be affecting your movement, pain levels, and recovery. Our in-depth analysis helps us identify and address factors like lifestyle, movement and even physical and mental trauma.

An Exercise Physiologist is a trained health professional who specialises in clinical exercise to improve health, manage chronic conditions, and support recovery from injuries. A Personal Trainer helps with general fitness goals but doesn’t specialise in medical conditions.
Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists both help with injury recovery and improving health, but their approaches vary. Physiotherapists assess, diagnose, and treat injuries using techniques like manual therapy. Exercise Physiologists focus on improving movement and overall health through clinical exercise programs that enhance strength, mobility, and chronic pain management.
Exercise physiology offers powerful benefits, such as reducing pain, increasing mobility, strengthening muscles, and improving cardiovascular health. It’s a comprehensive, holistic approach that not only addresses chronic conditions but also prevents future injuries and pain.
While there will be some movement and low-energy exercise, there will not be any excessive exercise. Each session is designed to help you regain function and achieve better health—at your pace and comfort level.
Proper breathing patterns support energy regulation, reduce stress, improve posture, and ease pain. As and accredited exercise physiologist, I help you understand the connection between your breath and health. By optimising your breathing, we aim to reduce fatigue, improve recovery, and support your progress.
Respire is all about finding you a solution when other specialists can’t, relieving your pain and building resilience against future injuries.
